We are really pleased that you want to belong to Leeds Vineyard. We know it can be difficult to find your way into a new group of people. There is no formal membership at Leeds Vineyard, and you are welcome to become involved as much or as little as you wish.

If you are new or planning to visit for the first time:
  1. Come and say hullo on Sunday morning - please ask one of the Welcome team to introduce you to one of the leaders;
  2. Come to a Welcome Dinner (usually the first Monday evening in the month or lunch after weekly worship on a Sunday);
  3. Join the next Discovering Vineyard Small Group (this small group runs each term for people who are new to the Vineyard). Once you have joined this group you can register for the website (see below).

For those who have decided to make Leeds Vineyard their home there are some characteristic ways in which we belong. None are mandatory - we don't have membership criteria - but they are all symptoms of a healthy spiritual life:

  1. Celebrate on Sundays

    Followers of Jesus make a statement to their community and to each other by joining together once a week to celebrate what God is doing in their lives. It is also an opportunity to worship and learn and it provides a great environment for children to learn about Jesus too. More information here.

  2. Do life with a small group

    When you have finished the Discovering Vineyard group please join another Small Group when they re-launch a month later. There are all sorts to choose from, all round Leeds, at different times and places with different themes and purposes. More information about Small Groups here

  3. Join a team

    Find somewhere to serve and join a team where you can share your gifts and interests and know that you are doing your bit in the church family and for the mission God has given us.

  4. Pray for Leeds Vineyard and our leaders

    Please make a habit of praying for David and Alison and the leaders. Keep an eye on the life of the church so that you can pray for the whole family too. Here is some helpful guidance about how to pray.

  5. Give to God's family

    Regularly give a proportion of your income to the church. We don't collect money at meetings, we leave it up to you to set up a standing order or transfer from your bank account. If you prefer to give cash there is an offering box at the entrance of the church.

  6. If leaving another church, leave well

    We are honoured by every person who chooses to make Leeds Vineyard their home. If you have come from another church we ask that you ensure that you have the blessing of your previous pastor(s) as you leave.

  7. Join us on myChurchSuite

    This gives you access to more information about who is who (our address book), let's you see when you're down to serve (if you're part of a team) and allows you to easily sign up for upcoming events run by Leeds Vineyard. You will also receive be on our database to receive regular email from David. For reasons of safeguarding and privacy, churchsuite logins are only open to those who are a regular part of a Small Group. You can apply to join here.
