Tim's story

I grew up in a family that did not go to church. I went away to boarding school at age 9, which made me begin to question what life was about. At 17 I left England to work in the wool trade in South Africa, then Australia and New Zealand.

Work was at the top of my agenda. When I was 21, the company I worked for in New Zealand went on strike. I went for a swim and asked God to show me he was real. There was an earth quake, the attendant asked me leave the pool. I felt God was real and I went round to a local Christian book shop and gave my heart to God and Jesus. Since then, my life has had more meaning.
