Krystyna's story

In 1994, looking at my life from the outside there was no reason why I should not be happy. On the inside, nothing was right and so I found everything hard - family, marriage, work and friendships. When my best friend's husband left her it turned my life upside down, because I had been jealous of what they had. I called out to God because I was desperate. My best friend was and is a Christian and I had seen how God had helped her cope with her broken marriage, so I challenged Him to come into my life and to help me with my marriage. If He wanted things to change, He would have to show me in a very real way. One night, I decided to pray for a sign from God. I asked him to make my husband come downstairs, ask me to pray with him even though he wasn't a Christian yet, and find a passage in the Bible I'd just been reading without me prompting him. All three things happened. My husband is now a Christian and we've been married nearly 25 years.
