Christmas Carols | Sunday 9 December 2018 | 7.30pm

One of our favourite occasions of the year – candle-lit ambience, familiar readings, singing carols we’ve sung since childhood, remembering who Christmas is really about and rounding it off with festive snacks and drink.
Our theme is Light in the Darkness: as Jesus said, “the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” Matthew 4:16.

The service takes place at Headingley Methodist Church. It starts at 7.30pm, will last about an hour and is open to all (but there is no separate provision for children). Afterwards you’re invited to join us for festive snacks and drinks. The service consists mainly of readings, carols, and a reflective talk on the theme.

We’d love to see you and your friends there. All welcome.

Plus, join us on 16 December for an all-age Christmas Service!
