Leeds Vineyard
We're so thankful for the generosity of those who give to Leeds Vineyard, providing the church with the resources to do things well and to demonstrate God’s love outside this church in practical ways.
Having a regular income means we can continue to bless the community generously and fund the many projects, events and courses we run or support as well as the normal day-to-day running of the church. The Bible teaches us to be generous but also to be good stewards, to look after money carefully but be willing to step out in faith that God will provide too.
Malachi 3:10 says, Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
And in 2 Corinthians 9:7 Paul instructs us, Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

How to give to Leeds Vineyard
There are 5 ways in which you can give financially to Leeds Vineyard.

If you have internet banking you can set up regular giving yourself. Our bank details are:

If you don't have internet banking then you could take a standing order form to your bank and set it up directly with them.
If a standing order is an option that is available to you, this would be our preferred method, as the bank charges no fee to you or us.
After setting up a standing order please do email us and let us know so that we can look out for it at giving@leedsvineyard.org. -
It is possible to set up a regular or one-off gift using ChurchSuite. If you have a ChurchSuite account you can login and setup a gift, alternatively you can click here.
Please note that fees are payable on online transactions. Therefore if you bank online please consider giving by Standing Order to maximise your giving. -
If you have a charity account either personally, or through your employers payroll giving scheme then we'd encourage you to use this. You could also give through Stewardship or CAF - please nominate "Leeds Vineyard".

As part our time together on Sundays, there is the option of giving in cash or by card during gathered worship.

Giving through your estate is a powerful way to be generous and to bear testimony to your lifetime convictions. There may also be tax advantages if your estate is subject to inheritance tax or capital gains tax.
If you have been a regular giver throughout your life then it makes sense to continue to be so after your death. For example, you could insert a “charitable giving clause” in your will instructing your executors to tithe your assets to charity. Or you could simply make a gift of a fixed amount.
A clause like this acts as a meaningful testimony to your values (and can be good counsel for your beneficiaries).
“In recognition that everything I have comes from God and to continue my lifelong spiritual discipline of generous giving, I wish to leave 10% of my total net assets to the last church to which I regularly gave”.
A gift from a legacy is a real blessing to a church and often acts as a catalyst for a leap forward in extending the Kingdom, enabling long hoped-for projects or ministries.
If you do decide to give generously through your will, we recommend informing your beneficiaries so that (1) they expect it and (2) you have a chance to explain why.
Gift Aid
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we can claim an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue (tax you have paid), helping your donation go further. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.50. Imagine what a difference that could make - and it doesn't cost you a thing.
So if you want your donation to go further please do Gift Aid it. By the way, the legal name of our charity is Wharfedale Vineyard.
Ways to do this:
1. If you have a My ChurchSuite login with us please login and go to 'my gift aid' where you can submit a declaration. You can submit a new donation at any time if you move address, or change your name or your situation changes.
2. By completing the Online Gift Aid Declaration.
